The Sun is a Source of Energy
Plants do not need to go hunting for food; they live by photosynthesis. They create carbohydrates by themselves from sunlight, water and carbon dioxide. Using the carbohydrate as fuel, plants breathe, absorb water & nutrients and sprout new shoots. Houseplants come from a shade jungle. Their bodies are designed to create fuel efficiently with little light. But too little light, they will slowly run out of fuel. Stay away from direct sunlight and find an indirect sunlight space, such as behind curtains.
